Sanding:
We use a superior dust containment system for our sanding and finishing process. We have the Bona Atomic 110 Dust Containment System and it greatly reduces the dust that is generated when you sand a wood floor.
When requested, we can put up draping film which further reduces dust in a room. We always recommend that draperies and art be removed before sanding a room.

Staining:
Staining a wood floor can personalize your floor and enhances your decor. We are able to match existing floors with stains and we do custom stains at your request.

Finishes:
Wood is a natural material that will last longer and have an improved and more resistant surface when treated with finishing materials which preserve the natural properties and qualities of the wood. Domino Hardwood Floors uses the finest oils and low VOC waterborne urethanes to make your floors beautiful while keeping the environment you live in healthy.

BonaKemi Traffic Waterborne Finish

This is a great alternative to solvent-based polyurethane finishes. This finish is an excellent choice for high traffic areas and kitchens or family rooms where there may be children or pets.

Bona waterborne finishes are healthier to work with and are fast drying. Bona's advanced technology waterborne finishes are very durable. Clean, high build finishes won't amber or change color over time, highlighting the true beauty and elegance of the wood. There are two different sheens to choose from, semi-gloss or satin. BonaKemi Traffic is easy to keep clean and will maintain its beautiful look for years.

OSMO Hardwax

Osmo hardwax oil is a penetrating oil finish that is rich in natural vegetable oils and waxes. It is a natural alternative to polyurethanes.

This product is based on re-growing vegetable oils and does not contain any biocides nor preservatives. The product is free of formaldehyde, PCP, Lindan, Permethrin and hazardous heavy metals. The dried surface is physiologically safe for man, animal and plant.

OSMO is made from readily renewable, natural ingredients. It is extremely durable. It preserves the look and feel of real wood and is easy to clean.

Trip Trap Oil Finish

Trip-Trap oil finish will both penetrate and harden to achieve a hard wearing and resistant finish. This finish ins new to North America but is proven in Europe where it is in used for more than three decades. Trop-Trap is manufactured in Europe, where 30 years of experience make it the preferred choice for wood floor finishes. It is on a third of all wood floors sold in Europe. Trip-Trap oil finishing products are constantly researched and improved at the manufacturer's own laboratories in Denmark, always meeting the highest possible environmental standards. Trip Trap products also meet or exceed the most stringent VOC regulations in North America.

For a more natural look, a Trip- Trap oil finish should be considered. It has a beautiful satin sheen. Trip Trap is a superior finish and easily maintainable. Using the Trip-Trap products to clean and maintain your floor will keep your floors looking beautiful for years.
